Senior .Net Developer – SharePoint (3 month contract + 3 months renewal)
We require a Senior .Net SharePoint Developer to help us deliver our expanding product roadmap. echo for SharePoint’s product roadmap has evolved out of close partnering with Microsoft, system integrators and early industry years in the field. Our vision is for echo to be the sole tool enterprises require to manage SharePoint from planning to decommission.
Your primary responsibility will be to be work with the Program Manager to design and develop key features on echo’s roadmap and make a vital contribution to our vision. You will be a key player at echoTechnology and will be a focussed, motivated and driven individual with excellent communication skills.
The opportunity to transition from a contractor to a permanent role will be available for a suitable and interested candidate.
Requirements
· A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
· Strong Winform, Threading and Rich Client Coding Experience Essential
· At least 3+ years experience developing enterprise-class Microsoft SharePoint solutions using the SharePoint API and the .NET framework,
· Expert-level competency with Microsoft SharePoint 2003/2007 and MOSS technologies including 3+ years of solid SharePoint Portal development experience Using C#.
· Strong knowledge of Office products
· Exposure to Microsoft Windows Communication Framework (WCF) or at least Web Services Programming and Service Oriented Architecture
· Experience with SQL Server 2000/2005, transact SQL and Database Design.
· IIS and Networking Knowledge
· Strong Winforms and user interface skills will be advantageous
Preference
· be capable of working with a Program Manager to distil business requirements into technical and coding outcomes
· have experience working with a second development team in a remote location on a different time zone.
· can collaborate and contribute on architecture, technology, and standards.
